The P3 Process
P3 Architectural offer an end to end service. From initial consultation and quote to support during build we can help you through as much of the process as you require.
We aspire to provide our clients with a seamless service, providing advice to secure planning permission and using our expertise to support a solid build.
Below we run through how the journey from idea to completed build will pan out when using us for the whole process.
Stage 1 - Initial Consultation
* Initial meeting with client to discuss requirement and of possible opportunities / constraints on the development
* Explaining the process and what services we offer
* Clarification of design brief and clarifiying the scope of works with guidance on any external consultants that may be required
* After the initial consultation a fee proposal can be issued for our service relating to the client design brief.
Stage 2 - Existing Measured Surveys
As Existing survey
* We will need to carry out a measured survey of the house before we begin design work.
* Following our survey, we will prepare ‘as existing’ plans and elevations.
* For larger complex projects specialist surveys may be required
Stage 3 - Concept Design
* Sketch Outline proposals based on initial design brief
* Developing outline sketches with client and exploring further design ideas
* Discuss feasibility of planning / construction and budgets
* Initial Preperation of planning submission drawings
Stage 4 - Submission of Planning
Submission of Planning – Applications & Permissions
* Finalising detailed proposals, ready for relevant planning application submission
* Validation of application and acting as client agent throughout the process
* Liasing with council through Consultation / site visit / recommendation process of planning application
